To be honest I was speaking from memory..

All this stuff is adjustable

I do think a drop is in order, but it has to be dynamic the rpm drop from first to second is far different than fourth to fifth.

I think the feature if pretty cool, but I am partially amused people want to buy a manual and essentially turn it to an automatic.

This isn't anything like turning it into a automatic. Have you ever driven in a car with FFSing? There is more going on than just holding your foot to the floor like you would in an auto.

Between this and the launch control feature I'm going to need a new clutch sooner than expected, haha.

I can't wait. The new RaceRom features are so awesome.

Hence the word essentially, and yes, there is more going on... You push the clutch in with your left foot, and push a stick with your right hand... That's 2x more things than flipping a paddle with your right hand, or pushing a stick with your right hand.

Ya the more going on is the big part of it . The momentum and torque held and applied to the next gear makes for quite a different shifting experience.

Yes... but only for the first 4s of a race.
Simon

PS. Don't mention CVT's or they'll be a lynching.

Now let's say you no lift @ 3500, no lift activates at 3600..

In the world of rally the static 5500rpm no lift shift is junk.
Awesome to know how it works!!!

Can't wait to try it out.

BTW, the no lift shifting was actually very smooth. It felt smoother than normal upshifting shifting where you lift right foot between gears while going WOT.
