Back to the actual content...

Y-fabrication.

A simple jig is made for initial fitment of the mufflers to the Y.

Damn i may have to buy the axle back just on how you handled that. I don't care for the split dual muffler look myself no matter who made it first.

Looking at the pictures, do you guys think you'll have any chatter or vibration from the canisters being so close that they are nearly touching?

Thanks!

Good question.

On this prototype, everything from the rear differential back is fully welded as one piece. Both mufflers and tips. So there wouldn't be any chatter between them, you can try to squeeze them together like one of those chest exercise machines and they don't budge. You can't get them to touch even if you wanted to. We considered joining the two mufflers together and making a nice weld between them as a visual thing at the back, but decided against it for now. Of course, if we notice any issues during road testing we will evaluate and make changes.

Again, this is still early pre-production work. We will tweek and adjust the mufflers and resonators in the system for both fitment and sound properties. It is very likely the final production model will have slightly more or less spacing between the two mufflers. It is a fairly long process to get new products to market, and most of that is early testing in order to weed out that type of potential issue before a products gets into the customers hands.

Can we maybe reduce the size of the mufflers? Those things are huge!

I do like the way it looks. I AM a fan of the dual canister look and those fat-boys being so close yet obviously not touching just looks attractive to me.

I'm pretty sold on the SRT exhaust after seeing all the work that went into them and the ingenuity going on with other products but depending on how this sounds it could be a close second.

My 1st comment was made only because at the initial time of your post you were NOT a vendor, if you were a vendor at the time you made your initial post there would have been no comments made at all.

Glad to see that you are now a supporting vendor of the site. Welcome.

IMHO, as long as they do a good job of canceling drone and controlling loudness, I don't mind since the only person seeing them will be you when installing it
