LOL true, but look it this way. Subie ver have more chance of getting it Turbo (STI) than Toyota/SCION. Not saying Toyota/SCION ver won't get Turbo... but I do worry that it's gonna be like Celica & tC and just bolt in. Subie prob will wait yr to bring out their ver and another 6 month to brin STI ver, but for Turbo fan there's a hope

BUT for me, I gonna go NA, so it doesn't really matter turbo come out or not. LOL

What do you mean by quirky edginess? I hope you're not talking bout performance, cuz current STI (sedan) have fastest lap time in Nur than any other stock STi/STI Subaru.

As for the look, can't really say much cuz they haven't fully shown the final production ver 2012 Impreza. Either way, after they stop GC series, other Impreza wasn't great looking, but again that's just each and individual's opinion on the looks. Some say yay, some say nay

I believe he is referring to the way that Subaru styling has been becoming progressively more boring and mundane over the last 7-8 years in a quest to sell more cars.

Like Ichi said, GC is the best looking, but the current STi is not boring and bland. It looks a bit ricer, but I wonder how many non-rice car can outperform the current STi. I never like the bug eyed, but I do like the 06-07 Hawk eyed.

Jeez, poll is almost tied 30-29 Scion-Subaru.

Did anyone ever check the rumor that Subaru agreed to wait a year to release their version or to not attempt to compete with the Toyota/Scion version in anyway? I'm going to look for that post. Might be telling how Subaru will play it out.

I voted other because I don't know have enough info yet to choose. If they're identical cars at identical prices, my first choice will be the Subaru because I like my local Subaru dealer.

But I have nothing against Scion/Toyota. If the Scion is cheaper or comes out significantly sooner, I'll probably go with it instead.

I voted for Scion. I was very much against it at first, but then the FR-S Concept turned out to look pretty damn hot. Even better than the FT-86 Concept II, in my opinion. No haggle/no markup pricing might be pretty neat on a car actually worth buying. I've also liked a lot of the colors they've put out recently.

Edginess and quirkiness in the sense that these were once aesthetically challenging and unique designs. Nothing to do w/ performance.

Well then that's individual opinions on the looks, so can't argue/debate there.
