Sorry for the mods.
I liked the small case idea better.

Why were they going to give you that full-size spare anyway? Here in the US they give us a lower profile spare that fits flat in the back. Something to do with Australian transportation regulations?

.303's fit fine back there, had to test it.

Nothing to do with anything but Toyota wanting to make more money.

My motto is: if the gun is too big to fit inside the vehicle, I mount it on the roof. Yea, I get stopped by the police every once in awhile, but I also don't get too many people screaming at me in traffic when they see that M50 sumbitch on top!

The roads in DC is what's making driving in DC terrible. The way the roads are laid out in DC is pretty screwed up even driving with a navigation.

Well that and the beltway was designed to be a population control measure. Also people in va/md are usually assholes on the road (originally from Newport News)

Get carry license, makes it easier.... I usually carry on hip, but cover by jacket in cool weather. Warm weather the setup is different. But the BRZ seats make it so I leave my gun in in my bag.

Depending on stage, you'll have to just put the gun in the trunk to be on safe side.

Driving thru DC, Philly, or NYC..... Everyone honks! Well, almost everyone. I swear people here honk just because it's there. I was honked at this morning because the light turned green.... I mean, it JUST turned green.
