Here in the UK it's mid summer so currently it only rains twice a day.

Definitely wash every week and clay/wax twice a year.

Some of these guys do get a bit carried away. I'm surprised we haven't seen a photo of someone who shammied their paint away to the bare metal.

I'm as anal-retentive as always... rain within 3 days... leave it be. Sunshine and clear skies... keep her sexy. I use quick detailer to remove bugs daily... bc bugs are TERRIBLE for your paint if left unchecked. Going from black to blue to black pearl to silver... it hides way more than black does!

If I had my own garage, I would wash it once a week. But definitely not everyday!!

I only wash it after a nice drive to remove the bugs from the bumper, hood and glass. $2 spray wash, no soap.

I do it too, I may have gone above and beyond you as since the opti-gaurd threads, and after watching Carlos in calgary do my FRS, Ive gone and purchased professional grade detailing products and began my own little kit. I dont clean it everyday but @ least once a week I do a full wash, bugs are cleaned off the car when minor after every drive and windows cleaned every few days lol. I like it looking tip top every time I hit the road.

My first polisher should arrive soon and i will begin learning on my old prelude. Grit guards, wash mitt, tardis, iron-X and all the goodies are slowly arriving.

BTW Korean Waffle weave towels FTW!!! same with microfiber towels, I stopped using the local stuff after trying the cheapo ones ordered from E-shine.

My car is always clean or 7 minutes from being clean. I'm pretty anal about it but seeing a couple guys at the local meet with a nice sized portable detail kit in the trunk of their cars made me feel like it's perfectly ok!

Yah, last weekend's World Superbike races were crazy.

Here in Texas it's mid summer so currently it rains not at all.

Gotta be something between twice a day and nothing for three months...
