OCD or just the hype of this FRS?
 

Is it just me or somebody else here like almost cleans their car everyday? before going to sleep I keep on spraying quik detailer to remove dust and all that! is it bad to the paint? or what? It's making me crazy!

Every day? Wow... I drove it around for a month with dust and dirt and brake dust and bug guts on it before even spraying water on it.

QD is not bad for your paint, but you're definitely going a bit OCD...

Imma stop it! Maybe it's just because it is a new car that I OWN! lol! I have to replenish funds to do a clear bra and opticoat cuz I want to protect this baby.. Imma hold myself from now on! :bonk:

i do clean and wipe down my car too everyday

my car is black so every dust and dirt shows up

i use a california duster and it works well!

definitely OCD haha... I have a lilttle mini duster in my car though and I just break that out once in a while when the dust settles. It's a pink one too! Other than that I just clean the whole car ever 2-3 weeks.

I don't wash it every day, but I am diligent about removing bird poop and such with Meguiar's QD. I keep a bottle and a microfiber cloth in the door cup/bottle holder.

Thats FRS abuse. I am reporting you. LOL

I bought silver so I wouldn't HAVE to think about it. I do the QD real quick with Bounty paper towels or microfiber about once / week or if I notice something. Probably wash it every 3-6 months and full wax once/year.

when i had first got my ep3 i was really OCDing lol
i have owned it for 8 years and today is my last day. with time my OCD receded... but today will be my first day with the FR-S and i get the feeling that i will renew my passion and the OCD and specific everyday routines involving the car will reappear lol

Maybe not a good idea. Remove the bird poop yes, but throw out or wash the towel. Bird poop can contain a lot of parasites and communicable diseases.

The towel gets swapped out/washed regularly. I've got about ten of the things at this point.
