Happy for you dude! I have an eight year old myself and your post puts a smile in my heart. I have the same idea about passing along my WRB (when it gets here) to him when he goes to college. Ha!

Sorry about the fact I haven't posted more updates... I was able to get two car seats in the back. One of the seats, a recaro convertible seat, fits perfectly in the back. There is absolutely no movement, and my daughter is extremely comfortable in it. In fact when she gets in the car she asks me to go SUPER FAST!

Funny story related to that: yesterday she told me to go super fast, (usually I drop a gear and increase RPMs) but I was coming to red light and I told her I couldn't. Her response: "But Daddy, Lightning McQueen always goes super fast." I couldn't help but laugh at her comment.

The second car seat I have (a safety first brand) fits in the back, but there is a little bit of side to side motion that I cannot remove no matter how tight the latch belts are.

So I have plans on buying another Recaro immediately. It almost seems like it is made for the rear seat.

I have had the car for about 4 days now, and I absolutely love it. Can't wait to get my vanity plates:

LTG MCQN

or

LGTN MQN

or

LTGN MQN

or

RUST EZE

Can I suggest LTNG MQN, think that makes it more obvious that it's Lightning.

I almost wonder if it would be worth getting something to put on the bumper to complete the look, replace the Tom Sellick mustache with that big Lightning McQueen grin.

Maybe. It would be definitely something to toy with. Tried getting a Rust eze license plate today..... No dice. Will be going with one of the two above.

Also need to get a license plate frame that says ka-chow.
