Still pretty sure your national average income is also higher too, relative to that, so it's all a wash.

1 year old Samsmug(yes, they actually currently make camera-less phones). It's the kind you get for free when you re-sign for a year or two...it's all I need since everyone around me has a smart phone I can use if needed.

Yes and no. They also get taxed to hell and back to pay for FREE healthcare. The main reason has to do with trade agreements. The US has a greater ability to make these deals happen as well as the fact that most of the manufacturers have factories here regardless of whether the car is actually built here or not.

If Sweden had Toyota and Honda factories, they might also get good deals. I believe we pay less for the twins than the Japanese do for example. That should put most of the "blame" on trade agreements or tariffs or a lack thereof.

We here in Canada also are quite aware there is no such thing as FREE healthcare. It all comes out of our taxes. It's the overall efficiency of the system that makes it a better way. Better, but far from perfect I will readily admit. They also in Sweden have free tax payer supported post secondary education which is another major financial burden lifted from people. Again, pretty sure even with their tax structure, it's still a wash, since higher educated, healthier population, earn more, pay more in tax, and round and round it goes.

Don't even get me started on their crazy fast Internet speed provided to them cheaper than we pay(relatively speaking)! And the women....!!!

If it were that bad, their would be a huge clamouring of Swedes looking to emigrate out of there. As sweet as the 86 is, it's not THAT great to give all that up for!. If you can deal with the winters, Sweden is a pretty sweet place to live.

That's what we have to pay here in Australia.... mines $44,000 with onroads... and the Aussie $ isnt far off the US$. ($1US = $0.94 AU). So ours is actually worth more than yours.....

The only upside is we make more on average lol.

All true. But you also have to consider that the entire population of many of these countries is similar to that of a large US city, or state. Imagine the US with 1960's population numbers...we'd be a hell of alot better off.
