Agreed. Instant delivery on such a size ensures crap off the shelf at your local tyre shop. In fact, its pretty hard to find anything decent with immediate delivery. Contact Leo at JDM Concept. He may have something in stock from Work or SSR.

Checking his post history there's just 4 posts all asking about wheels when Google would've answered his questions. Researching is part of the fun of modifying. Do the leg work yourself and you'll become a more knowledgeable tuner at the same time.

I think he just wants a set of 19s and doesn't want to look himself. God bless the new generation of instant gratification children.

Holy shit! Have a look at his details on the left. He drives an F86 painted black! Man, I wish I could have a classic Korean War jet fighter to travel to work in too!!!!!!!! So jelly!

Imagine this, but painted black, sooooo boss!

Gee coping a bit of flack for asking for a touch of help. I don't want to be a tuner. Just don't want to drive a car with shitty little wheels. I don't understand the total set up thing so far I'm pretty sure I need 19 inch by 8 inch with a 40 off set is that right.

Have you seen an 86 with 19" wheels? Go check out the wheel section on the main forum - there are a few there but not many. There are not many for a reason.... IMO they look shit.

also one of the engineers from toyota said that 18" were the optimal tire and anything bigger would be detrimental to performance

Optimal size recommended by Yokohama (rather than a McDonalds car park engineer) is 18x8 front and 18x9 rear with 235/40 and 255/35 tyres.

For track use 18x8 all round with 235/40 tyres. Reason being they found the car would understeer more with wider rears on R comp tyres.

I suggest the OP listen to experts, not people that think bigger is better.
