Piece of advice--put your money down for your spot now, unless you want that whiteout. Lead time for me was quoted at at least 90 days, if they don't have the car you want. I'd rather get the car while there were still a few good driving days left rather than in the middle of winter.

On a related note, let me know if you see any Raven MTs in there

i don't believe i would qualify for the program if i did it now. money is more important for me right now than time. i'll have a long time to get my FR-S and enjoy it. If i can save 1000 and potentially get a better payment, why not wait.

I am very anxious though! lol.

Pretty sure they don't run the final numbers on payment until the car is ready to be purchased, aka there and ready for you. Never hurts to ask!

It varies depending on the dealer. Seen as low as $500, as high as $2000, but its completely refundable if you decide to pull out. They may be willing to cut you some slack because you're finishing up college.

Route 555 for a Subaru owner...how perfect a route number is that?! Search results make it sound like an awesome drive, I'm going to have to make a point to take a drive down that way.

If you want to make a full day out of it, start out in Salt Fork State park, and take Route 26, shown HERE

Then take a short jog on Route 7 down to Parkersburg, and pick up Route 555 HERE

And if you take 555 all the way up, it gets boring and then ends up in Zanesville, which from there its easy to get home.

Hey guys,

As a motorcyclist, I say with some personal experience you may also wanna try route 9 south. Pick it up in Carrolton, and take it all the way until it tees at route 148 at the river. The last 6 miles are OUTSTANDING.

Turn right (west) on 148, and take it to 800 north. Great little 200 mile loop from Canton!

I used to be the Postmaster of Carrollton. RT 9 is a blast in places. Years ago, I traveled RT 26 out of Marietta heading northeast. I am itching to run that in my MR-S. That road is flat awesome. Another of my favorites is RT 83 and RT 313 between Cambridge and Zanesville. There are a lot of high speed sweepers and some tight twisties. Just have to watch for pick-ups, tractors and deer.

Sounds like you'll be racking up the miles pretty quickly! That's quite a commute!

Oh it is only to Richfield though. 15 minute drive isn't bad And I have a winter car as well so I'm hoping to keep it under 6,000-8,000 miles a year.
