Anybody around from northeast ohio? I see alot of people from down south cinci area, but haven't come across any clevelanders/akron, etc.

Just thought I'd pop in and say Hi. I'm in Central Ohio in Columbus, Picked by FR-S up on Wednesday. Lucked into it really, the owner who was slated for it backed out at the last minute and I just happened to call the dealership at the right time.

Anyone planning on going to Mid Ohio Sport Car Course next weekend?

AlanLGuy, I'm also in the Columbus area. And I also fell into my FR-S after someone dropped out. Took delivery yesterday (Thursday). It's always nice when people do that!

Awesome! glad to see another FR-S owner that is local! Any plans for it yet?

I'm still trying to decide whether I want to de-badge it completely, swap to toyota emblems, or just remove the FR-S...

I plan on driving it up to Mid-Ohio next saturday to watch the Rolex sports car race and then the weekend after there is a Buckeye Miata Club autocross on campus.

It's got about 130 miles on it now, so I guess I have about two weeks to put 1,000 miles on her lol. Though to be honest I'm not all that concerned about it. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't gone past 4,000 RPM's on more than a few occasions already and one of the salesmen at the dealership told me he was doing 100 MPH on the freeway in 3rd gear before I bought it.

The dealership said there was no break in period because it's a Scion but the owners manual says different...

I'll be removing the FR-S badge for now, but still debating on switching to Toyota badges. I ordered the Beat-Sonic shark fin, and a front tow hook plate mount. Over 4th of July break I plan to do an HID retrofit to the headlights. Until then, I don't know yet.

I plan on swapping out the projectors to HID projectors. HID bulbs in halogen projectors work, but they're not as good as they could be.

I also ordered new LEDs for the interior. It's bugging me that the climate control and clock are amber, while the rest of the car is red. The LEDs should arrive later this week, so I should have it done this weekend.

Nice, we have 3 FR-S' in the Columbus area! Based on your car colors, you didn't go to the same dealership I went to.
