Really? I put a new suspension on my Exige with rear swaybar and other goodies and it rides nicer, and handles nicer.,.didn't think it was possible.

Depends on your definition of civilized.
Refreshing the suspension certainly a good thing.. Alpine cabin is roomier, and quieter, however, I have an Akropovic installed, it has a nice burble but not taken it over 3K revs.. running it in at the moment.

This rather "subtle" Yaris has been buzzing about my neighbourhood for a few years but never got the chance of taking a snap, until this morning....

That's the real deal 4 wheel drive fun buggy that we don't get over here.
Wouldn't matter if we did as it would be out of my price range.

Ah, it is that time of year when more and more classics come out of hiding for their owners to enjoy them.
The wife has been looking at getting something for herself. She had a deal on a 3 owner 1969 MGB with 56k miles and lots of mods. That deal seems to have run amuck now. The owner gave the car to his wife who didn't like driving it but loved riding in it. He has too many toys and needs to clear space so they decided to sell the B. Three days after the deal was made the wife changed her mind and wants her brother to have the car.

The other car she was/is looking at is a blind auction. She is to write down her bid and seal it in an envelope then give it to the club holding the auction. Highest bid wins the car. It is a one owner from new1981 Triumph (built Spitfire with 20k original kilometers. Never driven in bad weather. Rust proofed before delivery in Feb. of 1982. One of the last Spitfires sold in North America. This car is a true time capsule.

Good luck with the blind auction... this was my MGC GT. I was the 3rd owner, i spent some money on the engine, upgraded to Sebring spec.. Twin straight s/s exhausts to complement the triple Webers up front.. it'a a nice car with about 220bhp..
