How was the aero device attached to the side mirror developed? It's interesting to me as it is different than the Verus unit.

![]() I'll be messing around various "wing" portions of the design to see what helps the most with buffeting. As it is now, minimal buffeting with both windows down at ~95 mph. I think that's less effective than the "flap" style that Verus sells. I did a design for that ages ago and never bothered actually installing them, but I could test back to back to back.

Does anyone have a scan/STL of the entire center console (1st Gen)? I'd like to play around with some ideas in Fusion.

My 20 lb deka AGM battery died because I was away a lot during the holidays and it's been so butt ass cold. I was tempted to replace with a LiFePO4 but got nervous...and after a jump my deka seems totally fine. That thing is awesome honestly. But I'm still thinking about it. - Andrew |

Seems fine so far. When it's super cold, it seems to take a little bit to warm up the battery. I'd probably do an NLP30 for actual use, this is actually my wife's autocross car's battery.

Has anyone ever tried making the aero stabilizer that goes into the gap at the trunk and rear window?

Been getting into some 3D printing recently. Purchased a Creality K2 Plus with a CMS expansion so I can print up to four colors in one print.
Car related, I have a 70 piece Craftsman tool set I've had since high school (about 45 years). The plastic case finally feel apart so I decided to move this into a newer toolbox and use an open source organization system call Gridfinity to print replacement holders. This isn't the most efficient space wise but it allows me to quickly ID sockets which is the idea behind Gridfinity (quick access, immediately tell what is missing). This is most of the set ready to go. Discounting the printer cost, the filament cost was about $10 for all of it.
