man, those are very tall and vertical fins. I dont think you want to be shooting the air straight up like that. You're going to create a lot of separation with the air going over the hood and create both drag and maybe lift compared to something like the Verus. And the last place you want to increase drag and create lift is on the front end of the car.

Hopefully it's just for pictures. Some wind tunnel videos have shown that (some) louvers work best if the leading slat acts like a gurney and each one following slowly reduces in angle.

I think the idea is that the leading louver creates a little negative pressure right above the vent, from the air coming from over the bumper. That helps "suck" the air from out of the engine bay, but more than that and you're going to just create a mess of dirty air. But I dont intuitively see how how all of them being at that angle is good for anything, but that's just the imagination of of some guy on the internet.

You don’t need that much of gurney flap to get much suction. My driveway labs has one 1/2 inch gurney on the front and at speed in the rain it causes a crazy swirl pattern on the windshield.
