Westen86, et al: Yes I read on line that it could be wear in suspension parts. I am going to have my mechanic check it out. Car has had a lot of track time so would make sense. And thanks for tip on LS oil.

I don't think it is the tires. They are evenly worn - no obvious defects. But I switched ties and haven't driven it since - so we will see.

Thanks to all.
Torque steer is exactly that. Torque acting on the steering axle geometry and turning the wheel. As you steer, that torque pulls on the wheel in different places. Making it difficult to turn, or turning when you dont want it to.

Thrust angle is a term used for alignments. Simply put, its the permanent steering angle on either the front or back axle caused by toe angle. If you have positive toe on one side and negative toe on the other, you are steering that axle in one direction. Instead of helping achieve a general understeer or oversteer behavior in either direction.

Hey, did you ever solve this problem? It has just started to happen to me. Tires are 1 year old. Mostly noticeable on the freeway for some reason (e.g., over 60 and in 6th gear). Diff fluid was replaced 1-2 years ago. Tires were just mounted and balanced. I'm really confused.

As stated back in 2020 if the rear end moves one direction under acceleration and the opposite under deceleration something is lose/broken in the rear.
Get it up on a hoist and have a mechanic go over the rear suspension, differential and axles.
