Great pics man, and yes i have a ton of tools myself, but i don’t have one of those wonderful 4 wheel lifts like you, its on my list of back and knee savers to purchase. Lol. Did you get yours from an online retailer? Or?

Yes i had a ‘72 Camaro RS For many years and everything is a breeze on the old gals. Those inline sixers like in your pic are even easier, can do a full tune up in less than an afternoon and NOTHING is in your way. Then the so called “Engineers” started to screw owners and mechanics on purpose.

I did coilovers, rear control arms, and camber bolts on my BRZ that's stored over winter and doesn't have an ounce of rust on it. Every bolt came out with zero issues. Everything went right together with no issues.

Doing just brakes on my SO's Sentra is a chore. Rust, seized slide pins, ordering parts you didn't think you'd need. Using heat, drilling out snapped bolts, etc. Everything is seized and caked on.

Generally though, doing any type of maintenance, fluid changes, replacement parts, feels like you're giving the vehicle new life. Super satisfying.

yes garage keeping really helps, especially in our area, i store mine as well. I’ve also had my fair share of firing up the torch to relieve seized bolts of their duty. haha. Hey don’t forget to give me some notice for your next meet around the ‘Burgh, i check my account here about once per week.

I'm building out a 2019 Sprinter 4x4 144 Crew. Got a great deal on it and am learning a lot. We've removed all of the panels, and have started on the sound insulation. The floor, wall and ceiling insulation should arrive today.
I'm looking to get a solid sprinter bed platform without breaking the bank. Should I check out Van2b or something similar?

Nothing like having good tools. I work in the trade and kinda overdid it but to me the anxiety of not being able to repair my own vehicles hurts more than the snapon payment.

I hear you. My dad had mostly prewar and some 1950’s Gray Tools, a Canadian manufacturer of high quality professional grade hand tools & storage options since 1912.
However, once I started in the trade I found that I preferred the feel of Snap-On tools. I know I could have (probably should have) bought Gray or another less expensive but just as good product but I figured I was making an investment. Short lived as I went into Precision Sheet Metal. Although those tools did come in handy when I was racing and now keeping my Seven running.

The photo is of my race box. I also have a larger Snap-On roller cab but I stopped buying tools long before I was able to fill it.
