offset is everything

For the love of god and to preserve everyones sanity, when you take pictures of your wheels and fitment please include the rim size/width and offset as well as tire size.

We don't need 500 pictures of the side of your car from 15 angles, a couple is fine to show the overall look. Best pictures are from the front shooting down the side profile of the car or from the rear shooting down the side.

If you don't post a picture showing the offset chances are you will get asked to within the first 5 replies anyways.

/rant.

update:
It would also be helpful, now that people are lowered on various suspension setups, to post the suspension details as well.
spring/coilover brand, camber/alignment settings (if you cared enough to get one after lowering your car) etc.

The correct way to post photos, and you can even see the black wheels vs tires.
size, offset and specs all listed as well

Replicate this guy when posting.

There are multiple other threads for that, stickies at the top of the section for the pictures that DarrenDriven has been painstakingly putting together and updating.

This is merely an attempt by me to keep this forum clutter/idiot free. I don't care to see someones "awesome new wheels" thread which had 18 iPhone photos that show nothing useful.

Just making a point of being post #5 and asking for pics.

But internet humor must be lost on Canadians...

However, I think we all feel the same way and wish the guys just posting pics for the sake of posting pics realize that they are actually doing everyone a disservice by not giving us all the information on their wheels.

And for fucks sake everyone they are WHEELS, not RIMS!

And please keep the front wheels straight in at least one pic. Scrolling through 10 pics and none have the front wheels straight makes me think they probably poke

Friendly bump for this thread, seeing how there have been so many wheel threads showing up lately that show absolutely nothing useful.

Even in the "flush" chart thread, few of the fitments that are deemed perfect don't even show a good side shot of the wheels.

Am I the only one who think that just looks silly...like a cartoon version of a car? I'm assuming tire manufacturers probably make tires that are designed to be stretched, but the vast majority are made so that the sidewalls are stressed.

Oh well to each their own...seems odd that the stretched look would become a hit in Japan and subsequently in the import scene...Hispanics and the lowrider scene were doing this for decades on Daytons

OH EM GEE LOOK AT THAT LIP!!! (lol)

i love that people always assume stretch is only for looks.
mild stretch usually allows for a flatter contact patch.

i had a good stretch on my ae86 with 195s on a 9j wheel.... it stiffens the sidewall, and with more pressure allows tires to spin easier which is obviously good for drifting... especially for an underpowered car like that e7 corolla posted above.
