I get how it works and it's masterful engineering but ultimately it just looks like something that works great until it goes horribly wrong.

A family friend built a gyroscopic controlled two wheeled car. (I may have talked about this before...) It seemed to work great at low speeds. However, things got really weird at highway speeds. After one such test drive with his wife in the car he took the torch to it and cut it up. I do not have a photo of it with body work but here it is with out.

Today I learned about gyro cars. First one was 1914 and weighed 2.7 tons.
Ford’s 1961 Gyron look pretty cool. |

I think it's past it's "Use Before Date". So, the next BIG Banana car will be an EB (Electric Banana) to meet regulations.
Donovan had it right with "Mellow Yellow" back in the day: Electrical banana Is gonna be a sudden craze Electrical banana Is bound to be the very next phase |

TIL I hate screwdriver sets that have the same handle for every type of driver. Pulling them out of the rack is a guessing game.

TIL there's a difference between a bar and bat mitzvah. Watched an episode of Bob's Burgers and thought bar mitzvah applied to both genders but I was wrong.
