They're pretty pricey too, and I'm kind of expecting it to have only a 20% longer life time than oem's throwout bearing .. but who knows.
The OEM TOB lasted 140,000km on my 2017. Not 100% whether I got the updated one or not since apparently not all 2017s got it based on production date.

So far I'm happy with how everything is feeling. For added context I also have the forester slave cylinder and Mtec clutch assist spring, so pedal feel is probably going to vary a bit.

Only gripe/adjustment is that pedal feels like it engages last 20% of pedal travel. Adjusted the pedal but overall just feels like there's less modulation overall. I don't think that's nessesarily TOB related probably the OEM exedy clutch. Fairy certain OEM setup didn't bite that low on the pedal.

I have 1000km on it now, waiting to see if anything Changes after 1500km or so which is what exedy says is typically break in cycle with highway driving.

Mine still has the original battery in it from 2012.

Whiteline fever

At a state inspection (which in Va is done by repair shops), my FRS failed because they said I had a bad ball joint, so I decided to try Whiteline's roll center adjustment kit. Just for fun, I added the end links since mine have 110k miles on them.

Funny thing, upon removal, neither ball joint appeared bad. I guess the shop was looking for extra work. And, their tech said he couldn't find a replacement ball joint because Scions haven't been made since 2016.

The reinspection is free but I won't be going there for anything else except, they did have a good price on Conti DWS which is why I went there instead of my regular place where they know I do my own car repair.

Installed some flashy bits that no one will ever see. But my pinch welds and jack stand pads will certainly appreciate it.

Yeah I think this is not taking weight completely off the pinch welds, but at least it's getting distributed better, and will stop splitting my rubber jack stand pads. I suppose I'm lucky to find these after my first year in AX lol.
