After leaving the key on and the radiator fans going during the lunch break at a track day, I can definitively say that you can push start these things. Granted, I had to think through the process since it has been at least 30 years since I last push started a car.

Pulled trans today. New exedy OEM clutch+flywheel, battle garage TOB, verus fork+pivot, and front bearing cover.

I haven't tried without it to compare, but it certainly went together pretty easily. Wiggled it for about 2-3 minutes and it slide in most of the way. Was able to snug it to the block by gently tightening bell housing bolts cross pattern a little bit at a time.
Gently rotated the output shaft at the back of the trans to help line it up better to the clutch. Last edited by RToyo86; 11-14-2023 at 01:22 PM. |

I removed my Verus front wheel air deflectors and reinstalled the oem ones. I couldn't hardly drive anywhere without finding something to scrape.
And how about that 1/4" composite aluminum piece between the splitter and engine cover and wheel wells? I bet it gets me 0.0000002% less drag and lift. I dropped her off at a tire shop for a set of Conti Extremecontact dws. Can't wait to get her back. |

Had it PDR'd completely following some light hail damage, and took the opportunity to correct the 50+ door dings and small impacts the car had gotten in its first life.
![]() ![]() All are gone save for one on the wheel arch. It looks like a new car. They also polished it a little bit and corrected some small paint repairs that had been done approximately. Also, installed the updated facelift door stoppers (sooo much better), and a knock-off MC brace. |

Only gripe/adjustment is that pedal feels like it engages last 20% of pedal travel. Adjusted the pedal but overall just feels like there's less modulation overall. I don't think that's nessesarily TOB related probably the OEM exedy clutch. Fairy certain OEM setup didn't bite that low on the pedal. I have 1000km on it now, waiting to see if anything Changes after 1500km or so which is what exedy says is typically break in cycle with highway driving. |
