There's nothing to flash. The mirror only takes 3 wires. + Battery, switched 12v and ground.

Does anyone know whether we can use the Auto-dimming mirror from 2019-2021 (H501SVA301) in the 2nd Generation cars (H501SCC000)?

The old ones use an adapter but the sliding part on the window looks similar. The harness looks also compatible with the grey foam-wrapped white connector at 3:55 in the video.

Only if you have a manual. The angle of the mounting base on the 2nd gen mirrors is slightly steeper to clear the eyesight panel, but if you don’t have eyesight the old one fits fine.
Also, shameless plug if you’re looking to save $$ on an autodimming mirror. I sell them for cheapsies.
