The first concept is a very close second, but I feel that the Scion FR-S somehow manages to take on the look of an exotic, which is really surprising for a car in the intended price segment.

I thought the Mk1 did that just as well but more subtle. I like subtle. This FR-S has too many "issues" that need to get fixed whereas the MK1 was basically ready to go for a few small things.

Forgeting badgets... the lines, the dimensions, the color... the style is... more than stunning, perfect

Maybe my favourite concept of all

Agreed, it's not a perfect car (but there really never is). But if you're referring to some of the more radical elements, such as the wild rear diffuser, I would venture to guess that the more extreme styling bits will get dropped in the production version anyway.

First of all, I want to say thanks for providing all the pics from all 3 versions. Not only were they high res pics but you captured every single angle!! You are definitely on top of your game and I want to personally thank you! :happy0180:

That's why Civics, tCs, xBs, etc, are typically such popular choices for them -- because the base vehicle is relatively cheap.

And even so, excluding magazines and the internet, how many xBs do we pass on the road "riced out" as opposed to stock? I'm just saying; those of us who care should buy the car because we genuinely like it and have been waiting for it to come out for the last 8 years. Forget the "ricers". They will always be around. Don't wish bad on the car just because of a branding issue. I'd like the think that most of the enthusiast looking forward to this car are better than that.

If anything, the dealership will rice it out more than the buyer with their weak accessories. Also, since this is a completely new car with the initial limited aftermarket parts, I think it may even take a a couple of years.

To be honest, in San Diego, I haven't seen too many riced out cars. Either that or I haven't been paying too much attention.

You have selective vision, just like me. Only see what you wanna see.

Sure, but there were less extreme bits in Mk1 than Mk2 or Mk3. That is why I liked the Mk1. We could subtract from each one and say this or that wont be on the production version. I was just taking the 3 of them at face value and prefer the Mk1 personally. The Mk3 has some nice features as do all of them, but as a complete package Mk1 looks the best.

Yes, you know the dealership will have the first few loaded up with all the options. I'm not from San Diego, so I cannot comment on what you see locally. I'm from Houston, and I can say I see ricer type cars all the time, every single day. The drivers have hideous cars, and most of them cant drive for shit. Ive seen a camry with a wooden spoiler.....are you serious?

I'm really starting to think the users on this forum throw rice around too much (but mostly in the right content)... That aside, the MK I had very clean lines. This, I guess we're on MKIII now, has very outrageous lines. But it's actually an attractive outrageous in my opinion. If the performance is greater than how it looks - it's not rice

EDIT: PS. Hope this is kept a high-revving NA turbo. And I'm only more moved by this since the MK I because I know this means we're closer to a finalized production model!!!
