I thought the cars that came with the dual climate control, so the BRZ limited and the limited edition FR-S, came with some kind of alarm system that you had to activate by doing something with either the door lock switch or window switch???

Nope. Just moved out here after a decade away. Gonna have to do some research. I have a digital rear view mirror with dashcam/backup camera I want to get installed too. Had it sitting for 2 years lol. The only electrical thing in a car I trust my skill level for is wiring a kill switch. Which I intend to do at some point but I want to put it under the shift boot and if I have that open I might as well switch the upshift and downshift for manual mode (AT)... and I would also like to mod the boot to hide the AT plastic shit for a cleaner look... and given that's now a list of 3 tasks I haven't fucked with it yet. |

Just got my car smogged, after an ECU reflash back to stock. Passed with flying colors! I was just a tiny bit worried. I think the only thing not stock now is the removal of the air intake “pipe” which was removed for a different air intake.

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing your twin back on the road soon, and maybe catching up at a meet.

Finally got my PTO day to get the registration bullshit dealt with. Every time I've registered this car has cost me nearly a grand.

So maybe someone on here can help me with a modified software issue. I have a carb legal vortech supercharger with a carb legal tune but I am getting failed for modified software. Tune was uploaded with provided ECUtek, has anyone else had an issue with smog with a carb legal tune?
