I ordered mine in July, until early November, according to the dealer, it was still under construction, but the timeline didn't seem right to me. It didn't arrive until late November

Just received an email from the customer advocacy department at SOA. There’s still no vin assigned so the vehicle can’t be tracked, but they’re showing it to arrive in January. First time ordering a vehicle and don’t know how realistic the expected date is, considering the dealership told my October when I placed my order at the end of July. It seems on average 6 months for the orders to be fulfilled, so hopefully SOA’s estimate is correct.

Ordered mine in June and got it Nov 29…

Order went in June 10th. ETA was originally November, then December. Just got confirmation it should be in end of the month. Got a VIN, looks like it might be on a boat.
Sounds like orders are not necessarily getting filled in the order they were received. Might be supply constrained on certain configurations. Hopefully this helps some people.

Ordered 5/21/22. Added to to the dealers allocation list 1/11/23. The dealer had no other information. I'm assuming a few more months before delivery.

I just found out today that the Red Limited MT that I ordered on 1/6/22, should be included in their February allocation! Not sure when that means I should see it, but I'm thinking/hoping end of March to April? What do you guys think?
When it finally comes, I'm curious to know if I was the longest wait in BRZ history?!?!

BRZs are being handled via orders, not allocations? If they haven't even put your order in the system, you're way more than just a few months away from delivery.

BRZ orders for 22MY cars closed on January 14, 2022. Anybody that ordered after that date either got an allocation car or had their order added to the 2023 list. The same applied to Crosstreks and Outbacks as all these order windows closed the same day.

Finally have a vin number and the vehicle should be here by the end of the month! It was such an easier process to get a brz over the gr86 that I’m bummed at myself for not going with the brz in the first place.

Dealer emailed me back saying the car is showing a 1.20.23 delivery date in his system. Probably a little later than that based on the timeliness of other recent dealer deliveries.

Picked up my 2023 today.

Ordered - Nov 3rd '22
Arrived - Jan 14 '23

My build date is 10/22, so this car was built before I even placed my order.

Car is almost finally mine! Just have to finish paperwork later today. The car landed two weeks after the vin came. All in all, it was a bit over six months for my Subaru order to be filled.
