If I didn't have to drive up to that area everyday for work for an hour each way

If everything falls into place I should be good to go. Car should be in by then and then it depends on my work schedule. But it's likely that I can attend, depending on the time.

I know there is some interest in grilling, but I don't know if they'll allow grills. I know they sell food their, but that isn't the same imo. If this is something that you guys want to do, FDR state park has grills at the different sites throughout the park that we can use. It's also right across the river too. Let me know.

If only my old roomate didn't "lose" my smokey jr grill, when he went camping I would have brought that. I highly doubt I can fit a 18.5" grill in my trunk, so maybe we can cruise around bear and then go over to FDR park after. I grill pretty often so I can bring the grilling equipment, charcoal, cooler, and some food. If I have time, I'll try and make homemade burgers and will need a headcount later.

I can make the 26th. They allow grilling in certain parts but i think you have to call and reserve a spot? Its been a while lol

A possibility, however there is the toll on the bridge (I'll be paying it anyway. I don't know if anyone else will have to depending on where they live) and the entrance fees for both parks. FDR was 8$ when I went and I believe Bear Mountain is 8$ as well. Don't know if people would want to pay for both.

I'll give them a call tomorrow (If they're open, if not early next week) and see what they say. I don't see why they won't let us do some grilling. It's not like we're 100+ cars!
