I just said i wouldnt blame it on that but it is the likely culprit.

I have confidence in the header I just think it is going to be best suited once someone actually gets some time on a dyno and tunes the car.

Thats the biggest thing that is missing in my eyes is having the car tuned with these modifications.
Heat.. maybe, hard to tell without knowing the order of the actual events.

The full exhaust was run 4 hours before just the catback.

That kinda doesn't make sense either now that I looked. Damn I wish there was a full log of "this added, this removed" etc.

I would love to tell you everything is going to make a million horse power when we bolt it on. But it clearly is not.

The header (until tuning is actually out for it) i can see having issues, its right there in the numbers.
The mid pipe and catback are making power. Catback we know is working and the midpipe i guarantee is working as its getting rid of a stinking cat lol.

Let me go see if i can get a graph of just the midpipe, catback, w/ no pulley.

Pic are uploading in the meantime.
I guess were are going to have a dyno run volume 4 soon.....

I spoke with Jason who was running the dyno at the time and when we went to header, midpipe, catback is when the car started acting up. He is saying thats where the obvious power losses were coming from. By the time they got everything cleared is when they had already slapped on the pulley.

and for those asking here is midpipe only no pulley over the stock baseline. so we are making power there.

Josh, thanks for the timeline there. Looks like some other full exhaust and no pulley runs were done, do those look better or was that when the car was acting up?

LOL Josh here seems pretty level headed and I certainly appreciate the time he's spending here.

However if you think people shouldn't question vendors before spending their money I can't agree with you there. The numbers were so outlandish and then all these "mistakes" happened that it's obvious why people are suspicious. I think Josh is dealing with it well and he's putting in some extra effort here which I think we all appreciate.

Dave we try and do most of the runs 2 if not 3 times.
All of the runs i put up were the Average of the 3 or higher of the 2 in a case only 2 pulls were done.

There are still a few things left unanswered so id like to get some miles on our car and start from the back towards the front with and without a pulley (if you guys can live with the fact our car has a clutch in it)

BTW dave it took me half the day to read your notes on the side and i knew your name sounded familiar. You had the graffiti itr right? Ive been around the honda game for awhile as well

midpipe makes power
catback makes power
i guarantee if the car was acting up the header would make some sort of power as well.

They should have went cat back, midpipe, header in that order instead they did it the other way around.

It's not that i dont think people should question...it's that i dont think people should attack. There has been alot of useful discussion int these threads, but there has also been alot of accusations flying around with no basis in reality. People get flustered when they are attacked. A perfect example of a thread that was pretty much amazing to read from beginning to end is Accelerated performance's turbo build. These Vivid racing threads start out good and then the usual "I hate Vivid" crew shows up to just start bashing.

It's gets tiring to read over and over in every thread concerning exhausts. The horse has been dead for a month yet they keep on kicking, hoping it will react.

I like reading your responses because they come off as not condescending, you have a few where I think you were frustrated. Civility goes a long way when you want to have a discussion instead of a flame war.
