Lachute likes to poke us with crazy products like the headers and their tuning but they take a while to come back and update, i heard they make crazy stuff well worth the wait though

Good looking piece of kit there Lachute

My guess at the huge increase over baseline was they had a full exhaust going on, maybe even a pulley, and a lightened flywheel...wheres the AP hate brigade to try to bring Lachute's obvious overinflated numbers to justice.

I'm just being sarcastic, but i would like to see how they have posted those gains over stock, I dont even care about individual gains for each part, just tell me what all is installed and if those gains can be repeated on my car!!

Also sound clips are a must!

well Lachute isn't claiming 14whp from a pulley. or 13 whp from a catback.

Their numbers look reasonable, especially looking at how good that header looks.

So...you can look at a header and tell that it will produce better HP because it looks good?

I've seen hand formed exhausts with semi decent welds that put out better numbers for HP and torque gains. Looked ugly as hell but worked better than what the aftermarket offered. I dont doubt Lachute or Vivid for that matter, what i doubt are all the armchair professionals throwing baseless claims around.

If you are gonna hold one company's feet to the fire and demand the most exhaustive (lol puns are fun!) proof of power dyno marathon in order to believe the numbers, then you better hold every manufacturer to the same standard.

Also get off your high horse, those claims were wrong, they admitted they were wrong, they went through every hoop imaginable and posted true numbers, stop living in the past.

In order to not derail this thread further, i just hope Lachute shows us all the goodies they are running on the car being dynoed is all.

Also holy freaking Imprezza farm...glad they know what they are doing with the boxer platform, but I can honestly say I have never been a fan of the WRX/STi thing. That Supra at the very bottom though... (Ab Flug kits are the sex!)
