BC Coilover rebuild, where to get parts???

Hello everyone.

New guy here, if I'm posting this in the wrong please point me in the right direction...

So I just bought a used 17 86 and it had BC coilovers on it. They were all messed up and I can't seem to find the parts online. Has anyone found a good place to get a shock cartridge? Their web site is not very friendly in my option. ( no I haven't tried to call them yet, I was hoping to find one for sale online and order it. I hate phone calls. )

I have a T:436 C:82.

I feel like I exhausted google, after a week in and I'm still at square one...

Why not contact the vendor directly?

i haven't seen an easy place to get parts. likely best to make that phone call. many places want to rebuild them in their own shop to control quality.

Depending on what series they are, a rebuild might be (unfortunately) more costly than buying a new set. That said, BC will likely sell you a new damper or might rebuild your struts if you ship them to Florida.

thanks, sounds like calling them is the best thing to do. I do get BC wanting to keep QC and making it a little hard to get parts for.

Since you’re east coast contact Redshift Motorsports, they work with BC’s and can probably get you the best solution for what you’re looking for. Might be responsive to emails, idk only know them through reputation.

Great info! they sell replacement damper's and have the code listed for our cars. "f-20" and this seems to match codes I've seen on BC's site.

Aannddd here is more fun info incase anyone ends up where I'm at. F-20 is the code and BR Series Front Damper - 220-100-MF1-20-M12 is the part number.

also if you search there website looking for Toyota 86 its a bad loop. but F-20 matches up with 13-19 brz's and will get you in the right direction.
