I’ll take that over a nutsert/rivnut that will corrode overtime and also rip your bumper in half if the lip gets caught

But due to the lip material, that's typically not the case, as can be seen in my photo earlier. Ripping the lip is not hard at all for a solid object considering the connection points. Tearing the bumper off is a hell of a feat on the other hand.

The 4 or so 6mm bolts under the lip of the hood will keep it from coming off completely but the rest of it pops out super easy. A good 50-70 mph off track will do it every time
