Nothing holds a candle to the theme songs from the 60s though.
One of my favourites even though the show only lasted one season.
Sounded awfully familiar to me.

I dig these themes, from Police Squad! (In Color) and it's inspiration, M Squad starring Lee Marvin

yep, the explanation theme songs designed so you can sit down in front of the tv, and even if you have never seen the show before, listen to the theme and you are all caught up with the characters, and what's going on.

You ever hear the original theme song in the pilot?

The 60s was apparently the era where they felt people had short term memory issues and they had to run through the whole origin story again at the beginning of each show so people knew what was going on.

I don't know about Idaho (I guess we can all do whatever we want when they stop doing smog checks next July), but I'm sure California it has always been that way. You can swap anything as long as the engine is same year or newer, and you swap with ALL the smog equipment from the new engine.

I believe that's the federal law. But, the incoming engine and emissions equipment has to have been approved in that configuration, or have been built for the same model/chassis. I think there's something about the emissions having to be less than the car originally had, but I gave up trying to figure that out lol.

One of the best. My parents had the album. I played the trumpet as a kid and spent many many hours in my room learning to play the trumpet part.

I remember guys I new that swapped. They would say, "You smog the engine, not the car."

TIL that it is a bad idea to forget about the new bottle of Clorox 2 in the trunk when you go to bed brakes.

On the plus side, my car will smell GREAT at the track tomorrow.

I did the same! ...except I played the tuba. God I hated being stuck with the tuba. So jealous.
