I've had good and bad experiences with Vivid going back to like 2003, but this thread is a huge clusterf*ck and I hope mods just clean it up and lock it at this point.

They did what they said they were going to do which is dyno parts individually.

Catted header, overpipe/downpipe w/ high flow cat and axleback. That's it. He's now running a catless header, overpipe/downpipe w/ high flow cat and the same axleback plus our intake hard pipe. Both with stock midpipe. If you want the details of that, just go look in our header thread and keep the discussion out of this one if possible.

And for all of you, Good Lord...are you going to make me defend these poor bastards? If there is one thing I hate about forums it is having my own threads taken over by fans and detractors beating on each other and then having my hard work locked because of other peoples behavior. Happened to us on NASIOC when somebody alleged that our parts were Chinese and we posted video of one of our builds to back up the fact that we aren't an overseas manufactured company. All hell broke loose. People started calling names, posting memes, etc. Asking if someone was indeed a Wolf, etc. (that was funny, and the reply was funnier, both of you...but the point remains) Let Mike get back in here in due time and defend himself directly. He deserves that right, and you all deserve a direct reply from him. But duking it out constantly as a sidebar is only going to guarantee that the direct answers don't get posted and this is going to get rehashed in another thread because this thread is going to get locked down tighter than Leavenworth on Sloppy Joe night.

Jennifer, send Mike our best. We might not see eye to eye, but that doesn't matter. F**k Cancer.

False, there still is no dyno of the full exhaust with the STOCK pulley, which was the main point.

The reason behind the post was to let people know that asked. Why nothing else was posted. I.E. dyno charts and videos. No attempt to guilt anyone.

On the topic of this thread, I'm not sure how you mis-reading my posts but in those posts above I didn't accuse him of not doing something, merely forgetting to post one of the dynos we all wanted in the craziness that was going on. I am as sure as I can be without being there that he ran the car with the full exhaust only since it was such a requested item.

I have a few things I want to point out. There are a few of you in here that will never buy AP or Vividracing. You are only in here to stir up trouble. The contrast in these threads vs other manufacture threads has made this very clear.

You are probably correct, but that's Vivid's fault. They've been given a fair shake here. I haven't ruled out anyone as a provider of parts for my car yet. The one vendor I did rule out initially completely changed my opinion of them from their behavior on here and if I go in the direction that they are focusing on they would probably be the vendor I'd go with. The dyno that I'm asking for can only help Vivid, not hurt them. Sure if you take a look at some other vendors you'll see healthy, friendly and very open conversation between members and the vendor which doesn't exist as much in this thread.

Anyone can see the groupie's and it doesn't take long to track them back to another vendor. Some even list their new exhaust parts on their car already. You already have another brand exhaust system. So why are you in here?

Not sure who you are talking about here, however my car is currently completely stock with the exception of wheels. Soon it will have some suspension parts on it (mixture of Whiteline and Eibach parts). I normally don't buy exhausts because I have a strong dislike of loud droning exhausts. Certainly I am leaning in another direction for exhaust because another vendor spent 45 minutes on the phone talking solely about what they could do to customize their exhaust to meet my requirements. However, since Mike said these exhausts are being made in the US I pointed out that I would guess AP could customize it the same way so I don't see how that's all that negative.

Be thankful for something for once. Mike went the extra mile to get this cleared up. The two days he was doing all this work do you think he was making money? How about now?
How many of you would do that on your own time without being paid? Or demand to be paid?

I spend literally hundreds if not over a thousand hours a year on an enthusiast event that I get absolutely no money from, so I may be a bad example to answer this one I think everyone is thankful that he went and got some more believable and honest information for everyone. That doesn't mean it's complete though.

As for vendors attacking other vendors? That is just poor tactics.

Something you will learn over time. Yes be passionate that is what drives all of us. That is what drives you to be the best you can be in your field, family and life. But you do not gain much short term and long term this almost always backfires.

I completely agree in the first part of that, but absolutely disagree with the second. Doing what I'm passionate about makes me happy, both short term and long term.

AP, I am sure by looking around on this site is not going anywhere a lot of vendors carry them. You might harass Vivid, You might be able to pull off a ban. But other vendors will just pick up the slack and keep on selling their products.

No one is trying to remove AP. No one is pulling off a ban unless Vivid does it themselves. If the extremely obvious protection we've given them doesn't make that obvious already........

Harassing the vendors/manufactures will also slow the development down on the car as well. There is nothing to gain from it. It only seems to be a select few that are causing the issues. Many have complained about their actions. But they will ruin it in the long run for everyone.

I hope this post doesn't get deleted.

Requiring vendors/manufacturers to prove their claims won't slow down development. Let's not forget what started this fire.
