Good news everybody, my car was transported from the towing company lot after a state farm agent did a damage report. He told me that there isnt any internal damage, except something about a certain part that holds the radiator (i'm not very educated about cars) and body work on both my bumper/fender and hood. He also said im guaranteed factory OEM parts completely covered by insurance since my car is under 1200 miles. Tomorrow im going in to go over the repairs and sign paper work at the repair shop (the shop is a certified toyota repairs shop at a honda dealer) and hopefully, they can get the parts in and my frs running again! thanks everyone for the kind words..still going to be an frs driver afterall

On most cars, the part holding your radiator is called the radiator support. You'd be surprised how simple the names really are.

Looking at the photos without the hood open, I'd say...
Hood
Hood hinges
Rad support.... Maybe only the top section
Front bumper cover
Front reinforcement (maybe)
Front absorber
Emblem
Lower grille
Chance of breaking brakets for headlamps
Blending of both fenders

That's all the major parts.... Overall not too bad except for being a damn new car, smh.

Glad no one was hurt though...

so if SUCH a new car gets totalled you get like 80% of the value back? That's not enough to get a replacement vehicle right.. altho I never buy gap insurance.

You would get "full value" but they typically total a car at somewhere around 80% of that value for multiple reasons, one being that they can get back the other 20% from scrapping out the car typically.

Also, I believe gap insurance covers your loan (the gap between car value and what you owe) and has nothing to do with the car.

Is it just me or these cars have incredible damage from relatively low speed collision?

I understand it has to do with crumble zones and safety, but being so compact I think it gets totalled quite easily as soon as you hit anything.

Could cause insurance rates to skyrocket if every crash ends up being a total loss.

There are no aftermarket parts. There probably aren't many OEM parts at this point either though....

There are no OEM parts. I was just told 30-45 days to get parts in from Japan...
