Wheel Spacers on stock PP rims 2017+
Hey All,
I tried doing a search, but my lord it's a lot of info, and a lot that didn't help. Is there a spacer that can be used on the stock PP rims on a non-lowered car that just bump out the wheels to be a bit more 'flush' with the fender? Thanks in advance! |

I use both 15mm and 20mm spacers that have a hubcentric lip for the oem wheels. You will need to install 3” studs like ARPs to accommodate them but thats pretty easy.
The 15mm were easy to find on amazon but the 20mm were not because most in that size are the bolt on type which I don’t prefer for my use case (racing). You could probably do 5mm and maybe 10mm without changing studs. You can also get the bolt on type too since they're seemingly plentiful.

I gave my friend a 15mm bolt on spacer for the front, and 25mm bolt on for the back, was pretty good. Buy the bolt on spacers, well worth the expense if you're not buying new wheels any time soon.
Edit: if it wasn't obvious, his car is the series.yellow 2017 pp. It also has KWV3 coilovers, but the stock pp wheels and tires with the spacers, it is still fairly flush when it was stock height

I had 20mm/30mm spacers with my non-PP wheels. I believe the offset on the PP wheels is +5 over non-PP wheels so the equivalent of 15mm/25mm spacers. With coilovers/RLCAs and camber around -2.5 the front wheels were a bit too tucked and the rears were a bit too flush for my taste. If I were to do it again, I would get 25mm spacers front and back. That would be equivalent to 20mm spacers square on PP wheels.
If you don't have coilovers and can't get as much camber, your fitment will be different obviously. Last edited by Mike_ZN6; 06-04-2022 at 10:22 AM. |
