How to glue leather boot to plastics?

I’m trying to replace the leather boot on the Ebrake. Because there’s a bit of stretching that happens I can’t seem to cure fast enough. I’ve been using E6000 glue but has anyone else that’s done this recommend a glue or method to get this done? The aftermarket boot I got also is a bit thicker than the OEM so makes things a bit harder to stick and cure

I used spray adhesive when I replaced mine. No issues ~2 years later.

And how short your working time is! You need a plan and stick to it or you will be peeling glue off things for weeks. It is fun to pull off your fingers though.
