lol. i love how the more-expense-more-work option comes first in that sentence.

fyi, the reverse option on these cars is not only a factory-standard option, but it's absolutely free to use!

As far as expenses go, anything in this thread is just a drop in the bucket and not a concern of mine. Free is great but reversing through whole easement several times per day isn't my first choice lol.

I never considered myself so lucky to live in a development with no sidewalks, curbs, or street lights.

Backing in is the way to go though.

I know these developments/HOAs have many postive aspects but I swore to myself never to pay a monthly fee so someone else can tell me what to do on my own land. If I'm going own property I want to do what I want! (Although ironically our town regulations are pretty stiff here anyway so nothing is ever really truly yours)

Does anyone heard any issues with the "charge only during decel" behavior of the charging system on antigravity batteries? Since the 2022 i assume has the "smarter" Battery Condition Sensor of the 2017 and not the "dumber" Battery Current Sensor of the 2012.

Not sure if the "smartness" causes problems of lack of adequate State of Charge on the antigravity (and other lithium batteries) during normal running, since thcar decides when to charge based on voltage and internal resistance (ie condition of battery) and since it is calibrated for a lead acid, i wonder that results in with the lithium.

Sorry if it was discussed previously. I am looking to get an antigravity for my new 2022. I have been running antigravity ATX30 and then 51r sizes for many years (albeit on more dumb cars).

Thank you.

Grab a Shorai and move to the trunk or backseat like I did. Been running strong for 3 years now and cold starts in the Winter

Is that a carbon fiber backseat-replacement panel?

Its something I made on my own using 2 flat peices of carbon fiber. Riveted or riv nuts bolted into areas of the car. Made templates out of coroplast first

Thank you.

Unless Antigravity has tweaked their batteries in the last year or so, it will indeed cause issues. They were still having issues on the S550 Mustangs because of the smart battery charging.

Yeah mine works beautiful on the BRZ but I guess that's a 'dumb car' in terms of charging being whenever it's on.

My group 51R battery installed in 2017 is still chugging along.

(See pictures here.)
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...6&postcount=58

It weighs about six pounds less.

Now you've got me thinking - is one of those Odyssey batteries just a bit shorter than a group 51R?
