Clutch rating

So I did quite a bit searching for a torque rating of the stock clutch.. I came across numbers ranging from 235 ft-lb wheel torque ( dont know which dyno) 90 ft-lb wheel torque.

The stage 1 Exedy clutch which is allegedly produced on the same line as the stock clutch has a rating of 166 ft-lb wheel torque (again dont know which dyno) but also mention that the components should hold 40% more load than the stock. To throw in another variable, you have Jackson racing supercharger website claiming they have run thousands of their CARB legal tune (makes 45% more torque on the stock clutch ) without any problems. Thoughts...?

Stock clutch is rated to slip before munching the transmission outright. Keep it. JR is correct.

Yeah I'm sure JR is correct.. Just curious on the actual numbers on the stock clutch, assuming that it would have been designed to protect the tranny from an NA engine..
