also, here's me trying to play around with the tail light housing shape to make it look more like the BRZ STi concept (mixed with my idea 4A), but it's pretty rough and I'm not sure I like it. It does make the space under the light look huge so maybe the lamp housing would need to be bigger. I like the narrow shape as it helps widen the rear visually but this would require modification of both the lamp and the bumper which I'm not sure would be feasible for most.

Doesn't take much searching...
I knew about these overlays and even referenced Premium Auto Styling above, but what I've been throwing out here is additional ideas, variations on the vinyl patterns they've already done. Because if enough of us like a particular style here I'm sure it would take minimal work for them to modify their patterns and do one of these.

wow, it looks like #4 and #4A are taking the lead at the moment ... wonder if everyone is voting for 4A or if they are split evenly? Might have to have a separate runoff poll later.

Let us know if there's anything we can do for you guys, adjustments can be made fairly simply.

We also have a video coming soon showing how to properly wrap the complete tail light using our red out tint film or smoked film.

Can someone please just do a light smoke 75+% with the top covered in a darker tint? I think this would look legal, but minimize the overchrome madness on there now..

A word of advice: Any overlay - no matter what brand be it PlastX or some eBay brand - physically restricts your lense's ability to expand/contract with temperature change. The lens wants to expand/retract at its own rate/magnitude while the overlay wants to expand/contract at another. One material must give way to the other when they are physically bonded. So cracks in your light housing may manifest in the form of spiderweb or hairline cracks anywhere from a few months to a few years of use. Other times people never get cracks. Just sayin'.
