If you're putting the car on track, then it makes sense. Driving around on the street does not. So I am guessing you're building a track car? You do have the fastest color. He said he was getting KWs, so it sounds like he's going ST_. No reason to buy r-comps for a class he wouldn't be in for very long.

Ahh. Right. I didn't read the part about prepping for ST. Then he made best tire choice, IMO.
