TPMS questions for Canadian BRZ owners

I know for Gen1, Canadian BRZs did not have TPMS but was installed on the FRSs and GT86s. Can any Gen2 Canadian BRZ owners confirm if TPMS is present on the Gen2 cars?

Thanks.

My Base model doesn't have them. I was under the impression that the Sport-Tech didn't have them either. Also, my Base model doesn't have the small button in the glove box for switching sensors like I've seen on the American ones.

Is this true?!? The Canadian market BRZs have no tpms system? So no need to buy extra sensors and no dash lights when I get after market wheels?

Since i had opted not to have the TPMS sensors installed on my winter tires, I'm gonna pretend that the tpms light on my dash is the "winter mode" light

lol yep. I figure it's not even necessary. I can use auditory (flat tire skittering in turns) or visual (flat tire looks flat) cues to monitor my tires. I have a tire pressure gauge in the glovebox as well and often top up/let out air depending on the weather

Usually forget it is on after the first day or so. Then in the spring when switch back it seem like something is missing for a day.

Until it is suddenly 20 degrees out and you are still on the snows. Then it is time for the "is it flat or just too warm" game. Boy those snows scream when you run them up onto the sidewalls on a curve because it is too warm!
