Wishful thinking, but it would be funny to see.

If it looked exactly like the MKI but w/Scion badges, a lot of views about Scion would change!

True. I would have to eat my shorts for that, but for some reason I am doubting that will happen.

No, I dont think so. Peoples views about scion are gonna stay the same. But their decisions to go with subaru (or not get it at all) will probably change.

I hope its not the mk1 design....my head would explode from the excitement and that would just be messy

True but the MKI is easier on the eyes then the MKII! We shall wait and see.

Same here, although I'm married so that might play a role.

I actually wish it would have a 2.5 inline instead of the boxer..weight could be the same as the tC and I'd be happy.

Nah, if we're talking inline, this car would have to have a direct descendant of the 2ZZ-GE, as I think most Yota folks would consider the 2ZZ the first true spiritual successor of the 4A-GE.

A big ass 'torquey' 2.5L doesn't match this car at all. It certainly doesn't match the spirit of this cars inception in the least.

Not to mention the 2AR leaves something to be desired in the fun department in factory form.

A spiritual to the 2zz with VVTL-i would be interesting, as long as they smooth out the way lift engages and give it a bit more midrange power.

That being said, 5S-FE or GTFO. /sarcasm

Don't start nothing, now. We've already got enough bickering about the engine alone to fill a thread to 20 pages . With 100 posts per page!

We could start a whole new thread just to speculate on what engine the Scion is going to get .

I agree, however, I still would prefer to have an un-inspired stock 2AR in it. Cause soon as you throw boost on it, 330whp/350wtq at just 8lbs of boost says "MOVE OVER".
