Never mind, should have searched first, whole thread about it here https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112859

Here is a quick video of Saturdays member day at AMP... a Noble m600 showed up and spun a ton then caught on fire. The Noble though is a very pretty car, but also very slow as it got passed by an econo-coupe sports car. Driver could have saved $220k if they just bought a BRZ/86 instead.

Nice job beating up on those cars! LOL
Is your car fully stock? If not, what mods do you have?

Mind if I ask where the alcantara wheel came from or if it was something you had done custom?

Lots of info on it online. Reduces anti-squat. So, say instead of the car deflecting acceleration sideways on initial increased throttle, that force goes through the shocks instead and the car squats down and goes forward instead of power on oversteer. Allows earlier application of throttle at corner exit without spinning. For me, I find the "playful oversteer" built into these cars quite dangerous and this helps dial that out. Helps greatly in snow as well.

Good driving, but:

-It's not an M600, but an M12, i.e. a 20 years old, $75k almost-kit-car ;-). 350hp / 2400lbs, but turbo lag and a peakier engine, combined to a snappier chassis
-If you're serious about track work -like you seem to be-, you'll know driver skill and commitment come first and second towards overall pace. The choice of car is third at best

2 seconds is more then I would have guessed, as you are quite speedy. Too bad I didn't get a chance to ride along with him at the AMP time trial during targa. I'm sure the noble is way more engaging to drive then the brz (but probaly still not as much fun as a sorted miata!), and imagine how much slower he would have been in it. Fortunately, money can't buy talent.

Thanks for the video. Turn 11 is so much fun, videos never do it justice.

Disconnected the speaker, wow the engine/exhaust is quiet. But still better than the disgusting sound the speaker makes. I was gonna do the exhaust next summer, but now seriously considered buying it this year

Picked up BRZ Tuesday afternoon.

Dealer installed splash guards. (Toyota parts)
Dealer deactivated sound generator.
Installed interior LEDs.
Installed LED back up lights.
Installed neoprene bottom seat covers (Amazon. Our dog likes to scratch our seats)
Paired garage door openers.
Installed Subaru universal license plate mounting bracket on front bumper with M6 20 screws.

Do you have a photo of the license plate installed? If I am correct, it may stick up a little (based on where the holes in the bracket line up). I would love to see how the Subaru bracket looks on the car. Bell makes a cheap plastic one, but the way the holes are drilled, I think the plate will sit a little lower. I prefer the Subaru bracket, but not sure if I prefer the plate sticking up a little. What is your opinion, how does it look?

Yes, I will take a picture of it tomorrow afternoon…

I had a older version of the universal Subaru License plate bracket (from my Subaru outback) which had one set of mounting holes rather than two. I drilled two holes a little higher so the plate would sit a tad lower.
