Subaru black oil filters Notes: I bought this car in August 2016 with ~1,300 miles on it from a rich guy who lived in LA and had a gt3 and gt4. He ceramic coated it when new and installed a few parts (gauge cluster cover, carbon pieces, wrapped dash piece). Since then it's been my daily. Garaged it and took care of it well. I haven't driven it much since the pandemic because I work from home now. Moved to Colorado in April 2021 and I drive it once or twice a week. Over the almost 6 years I've owned it all modifications have been done my me, most were purchased new. All OEM parts were kept and are included in the sale of the car. This is my take on the perfect daily driver FRS. It's an OEM+ style build that married function and form. The exhaust is not loud, the suspension is pretty comfortable, and it's not so low that you're going to scrape often. I've gone through many iterations as I learned what I liked and what I didn't, and this is the final form. I have taken it to the track once and it performed very well. I didn't beat on it and it rained half the time so I really couldn't drive it hard. My daily driving style is relaxed and this car has not been abused. I wait to warm it up before driving, I don't do burnouts or rev the engine high for long periods of time. After ~6 years I thought I was ready for more power so I bought an Edelbrock Supercharger from summit racing. There was some damage on the intake runner which I have fixed. I decided after fixing the kit that I was happy with the way the car was so I did not install it but will happily include it in the sale for a fraction of the new price. I can tell you literally everything about this car, it is my baby. I can give a list of references of people who also have/had 86's who know me and my car and how I have taken care of it. This is the one you want to buy. I thought I would keep this car forever and took care of it as such. Feel free to ask me any questions and thanks for looking!
