What did you do to your 2nd gen BRZ today?

Fixed the homelink harness and disabled hill assist. The hill assist light was driving me nuts.

Pretty sure my first mod will be the clutch spring delete. The hill assist delete, chime delete, and probably the ASC will be my 2 -4th. Where is the link to the hill assist delete and chime delete?

I installed the Perrin trunk handle to close my trunk. I have been using the black rubber stopper and was afraid I was going to pull it off.

I've been debating on snagging one of these. Does it bring the pedal any closer to you? I'm between something like this and the Velox throttle spacer -- but I dont think bringing the pedal a full inch closer to me is the solution I'm looking for.

It does bring it ever so slightly closer, but its the width that made the biggest difference for me. This pedal is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for anyone in a 2nd Gen. I think the pedal spacer just wouldn't cut it, IMHO of course.

I did the MTec spring, I don't drive everyday in bumper to bumper but live in LA so it's inevitable sometimes, it haven't really noticed a difference between stock and MTec, I guess it's a slightly heavier feel in the engagement zone but lighter at the top. There's a tiny bit of play at the top which I'm not sure I like, debating whether or not to just swap back to stock. I think the real fix would be to lower the bite point, I think it's too high (late).

I agree that the bite point is a little too high. Is there a way to adjust the clutch bite point?

Yup, adjust the clutch pedal and make the pushrod a little longer. Doesn't take much.

I also agree that the pedal bite point is too high.

Is it this one?

Did you use any good guideline for installation, or it is obvious enough?

Yup same one, I confirmed the part number is the same for both gens in the Cusco catalog. I will sheepishly admit I did not do my own install lol. I was not excited to bend into the positions required for install, so I paid someone else.

Job is done. You improved your car. And promoted a good mod.
