Agreed, it could be worse lol. My buddy a few years ago backed up his rsx out of the garage and didn't realize the door wasn't open all the way. Wrecked his wing, dented up the one corner, it was bad lol.

Pretty sure you can press and hold the traction button at any time to get both lights on the dash no? Or am I missing something?

Hit 1k miles today, and removed the fun limiter. So satisfying to experience the full rev range!

I also did the first oil change - used a fluid evacuator, but also pulled the sump plug to check for shavings (there were none). A few notes:

• The filter was really cranked on there, I had to get a wrench to remove it
• The crush washer was adhered to the sump plug with whatever paint they used on it - really easy to miss unless you're looking for it. I had to pry it out with a knife
• There are three 10mm head bolts to remove an access panel to get to the plug - there's an access hole, but I can't see how you'd get a wrench in there

You need to be stationary now to do that.

Also, there is a diagram somewhere that shows with the auto you can never get into fully off mode, only the manual.

I have definitely done the long press to get both lights while driving.

How much oil was left inside after using the fluid evacuator? What brand is it and are you satisfied with the results?

I have a 2019 so I may be crazy here. By far the simplest car to change oil, that I have ever had. With my ramps and a wrench the plug came out just fine, the oil then comes out of the bottom hole in the oil system.


The oil filter was bit tight, drove a screwdriver through it, and out it comes. Hand tight with the new one and Royal Purple in the car, and we were done in about ... 5 minutes.

Not much - maybe like 4oz, if that?

It's a Mityvac MV7300 - it works fairly well once you get the hang of it, I own three cars I need to maintain (two of which have top mounted filters) so I think it'll be something I'll appreciate in the long term.

It's a bit pricey for what is overall a pretty simple system, but hey it works. I do wonder if I should have gone for the hand pump version instead, in case I want to use it when I'm not around my compressor.

As a plus side, it comes with an attachment you can use for power bleeding calipers/slave cylinders.

Nope, can be done while driving, but I think it's speed limited, go over a certain speed and u can't turn either of them off. I could be wrong there too tho lol.

And you were right! It was initially vibrating, until I installed a little rubber insert that I found in my "random shit" drawer in the kitchen, the edge of the phone rests there, and it doesn't move!
