Mine had that smell when I sped out of the dealership. 1,100 miles on it now, haven't smelled it lately.

Got about 800 miles now. Smell went away a couple hundred miles ago.

I get faint whiffs of it after spirited driving, especially with the windows down. Pretty sure it's just normal since I'm not riding the clutch or dumping it so it can't be that.

Just reporting back to this thread, now over 1000km's on the car and the smell is noticeably reduced if not gone altogether, so, for me at least I think was just the oils etc burning off during break-in...

I knew the NOS--you know, two of the big ones--were going to get me into trouble. Amateurs like me with a heavy foot just shouldn't use it.

Yeah I get that smell too. I was thinking it was new car smell, but I realized it was shifting related. It reduced a lot as I drive it more, but it's a little concerning the fact this is my first MT car

I've had the burned-clutch-like smell too, since it was new. Has lessened over the first 1000 km, but is still there. It does it even after a long highway run with no gear changes, so it's not from riding the clutch. I noticed some over-spray from the rust protectant is on the exhaust manifold, so it is probably (hopefully) just that getting burned off. I'm surprised it has lasted over a week though.

nope

its clutch I smell not fluid not spray, yes, after a long 100mph drive, with no shifts. I smell clutch. My theory is the factory one slips more than I would like in day to day use
