Maybe. Still worth a check?

The other thing is the outside edge could rub on the front or back of the wheel well when steering. Might want to measure that clearance somehow.

Front, I’ve already done all the possible things

Caliper clearance


Strut clearance


Back inner wheel-well clearance at maximum turn


Front inner wheel-well clearance at maximum turn


Fender… not worried. Last time I’ve checked, about 7 fingers gap between fender to tire.

Did I miss anything else on the front?

Well, I wasn't worried about the inside of the wheel, just the outside edge. I would expect the outside edge of the tire to be somewhere around 7-10 mm closer to the front or rear of the fender/liner when the wheel is fully turned one way or the other. If it's an inch or more of clearance as the closest approach, I agree don't worry about it.

There's no way your wheel and tire selection has too low of a load rating right? That would be weird.

Edit:. Also, you could try the "view wheels that fit" option and see what the difference is?

So here’s the odd part. Every time I put the wheel into the “view wheels that fit”, the wheel I want doesn’t come up… BUT same exact spec, but different wheel come up. Same 20x8.5+20.

The wheel I’m look at is TSW Tamburello in matte bronze

Is the fill valve inside the spokes on that? That's kind of cool, but that could be the issue there.

Also, can't find a 22 highlander on the tsw fitment guide, so maybe that's an issue.

I was fixing on -ing you if you were just going to get new wheels and stack those fine looking wheels in the corner of your garage -

Search ‘21 model. It’s same. Only difference is 1 year newer lol

Yeah, I traded in w winter set (due to morning is freezing cold)


I do have my 18” Enkei Raijin. Tires are shot, but def want to used em when I buy 86/BRZ again or sell em.


But number 1 my fav wheels are these. These cost ridiculous amount, but love the design, color & specs. Only complain is weight isn’t THAT light (<18lbs)
