I don’t know how to reset the little infographic on the bezel that says average speed, mpg, etc.
I wanted to do that to my BRZ today but couldn’t. |

Lost another tire to our local pothole road. Getting a pair of 215/50/17s for the back to replace the bust one. A bit more air might help.
Gonna put in a claim on this one. The company that has the maintenance contract is not keeping up, and in BC we have a way to get compensated. |

Went in for an oil change and was told how messed up my suspension is.
I have Bilstein B6 struts, and they aren’t leaking, but there is play between the shaft and the body. Apparently struts have bushings inside of them?? TIL. On my whiteline control arms, the back right eccentric bolt “tab” is starting to round off and has completely destroyed the notch that it sits up against. Guess it’s new coils and control arm time! Front struts lasted 90k, rear shocks are still in great condition after the same mileage. |

Rather than starting another thread for a two second question, I thought I’d ask here:
If I am going from a Tomei UEL header to a Tomei EL header, do I need a retune? TIA

ECUtek. I called the shop that tuned my car with a Dynapack and they said “it would probably be okay,” but that didn’t instill confidence in me…the guy who I spoke with wasn’t the tuner, too.

QuickJacks
I ordered my 5000TLX QuickJacks and the pinch weld blocks. My Christmas present to myself! My shop supports many hobbies, so I wanted something portable that can be stored out of the way.
Update 12/11/21 Jacks are up and running! Pardon the poor photo, I was as far back as I could get. I had to redo the fittings on the long hoses because my brain transposed the torque values. I also used Loctite 5452 on my second attempt. After that, no leaks! Last edited by magbrz; 12-11-2021 at 07:45 PM. |

Not technically modded today, but I did order Valenti tail lights, side markers, hood struts, center arm rest, interior LED replacements and an Open Flash Tablet.
So a fun day of mods coming soon
