Debadged mine too, I couldn’t believe how soft the tape was, it was so easy to remove. I’ve only ever debadged 5-7 year old cars and they were always a pain. Last edited by Yoshoobaroo; 11-27-2021 at 11:06 PM. |

Subaru tape seems way easier than other ones.

Oh, wait. Has Subaru traditionally put a "SUBARU" badge on the back of their cars in combination with the "Star Badge"? I can see why people want to remove it. Makes the rear a little busy.

Subaru has always had a thing for badge overload. This is my least favourite example...

Japanese car trend dating back to the 80s and was still well around into the 1990s. The only difference is Subaru still kept that going the entire time and if anything they love badges as owners could add those badge of ownership ones.

The Gen 2 Photo Thread
Shooting this thing is tricky, I can’t capture HOW FREAKING RED it is. I played with the WB and aperture a bit but it made no difference. In some shots the paint looks almost coral. The baby blue sky reflecting in the paint sure didn’t help.

Are you shooting raw and do you have Lightroom? If yes to both, use LR's new subject mask to easily separate the car from the rest of the photo and process it by itself. There's a ton of videos on LR's latest update and masking tool, it's soooo good. PM me a link to download one of those in RAW and I can take a stab at it to show you the potential! Those photos I posted looked like garbage straight outta the camera. It's amazing the detail you can pull out of a raw file.

Also, has anyone tried fitting baby seats (forward facing) / booster seats in the back? Looking for photos of the rear seat space, or is it basically the same as the previous gen? |

Yes, same red. Back seat area is the same. I have a forward facing recaro harness booster in there, fits fine. |

Great seats too. Extremely comfortable and the ultra suede was mega grippy. Oh, and since this is a picture thread... here's the Sapphire one I drove. ![]() With a terrible photo of the interior
