Tires for next year

So I was stuck with the RS4s the last fun runs of the season and I’m sure they’re not a bad tire but when you compare them to the 660’s I don’t feel like they were even close. So Discount Tire has a sale on the 660’s but I was also thinking about getting the R888R for next season as well.

I know the R888R is only a 100TW and it’s more expensive… so is it that much better?

Also anyone that wants a set of RS4s in 245/40/17 with a crap ton of life left let me know

The only praise I've heard about r888 or r888r is from people who can't get any other tires in their size.

Treadwear is an arbitrary label, it does not denote speed or grip.

Autocross or track?

Better as in faster? No, they are worse, way slower than the rt660 or any other similar tire. Like more than 1sec per minute slower.
