my experience is that tire pressure has almost no bearing on these cars until it gets to very extreme differences. like 5 pounds.

If the shop did an alignment, and didn't reset the steering angle sensor the traction control will freak out which sounds like what you are experiencing. Have a reputable shop check the alignment and recalibrate the steering angle sensor.

well i can tell you this the tires make all the difference in this car cold tires do not grab crap tires on these cars says it all the car weights less than 2800 pounds and if you plan on driving it in the winter take your car to a good tire shop and spend some money on a good set of tires
